About AISCAF
The research cluster AI, Structural Change and the Future of Work, generously funded by the WASP-HS research program, examines the impact of AI and related technologies on the labor market, focusing on inequality, labor demand, unemployment risks, job satisfaction, and occupational segregation.
Using an interdisciplinary approach, it integrates data from registers, surveys, and firm-level experiments using qualitative and quantitative methods. The cluster will provide insights into the evolving nature of work and the role of AI and structural change in shaping future labor market outcomes.
Through its participants the Cluster spans across Uppsala University, Mälardalen University, Örebro University, Stockholm University, and the Royal Institute of Technology. It also connects several leading research centers.
